Hi, everyone. Harmony here. Many thanks to Sarah for hosting me. I have a new book on preorder called FALLOUT, which is a post-apocalyptic dystopia. This novel started out life by playing a little game. I sat and closed my eyes and imagined an empty room … in that room, a vial appeared. A dull orange plastic thing covered in scratches. It sloshed when I shook it. From that tiny beginning, the world of Exxon 1 and its deadly virus was born.
Did John betray Sasha?
Why wouldn’t he take this golden opportunity to get rid of President Terror?
How can she protect herself now?
Click the cover to preorder and get a lovely surprise on August 25th when it downloads.
WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS APART, WHAT CAN YOU DO?
The year is 3040.
The location is Exxon 1, part of a six-planet system in settled space.
Determined to avoid the mistakes of old Earth, the surviving humans avoided democracy and opted, instead, for a non-elective totalitarian system.
The new way worked well, until now.
A crazy, despotic president releases a nano-virus on the population.
No one was ready for the fallout. It came anyway.
In this post-apocalyptic world, can you stay safe?
Can you, indeed? Harmony, tell us more about yourself.
“After spending around thirteen years as an ordained Buddhist monk, living in a Zen Buddhist temple, and six years after a life-changing injury following a surgical error, I returned to the world at the tender age of forty.”
Welcome back, Harmony
“Now, she is famous for her laughter, and has made quite the name for herself … she’s also, um, a writer … and fairly well known for that too. She’s even won a few awards. Harmony lives in rural Cornwall with her ever-present sense of humour, adorable husband, and quirky neighbours.
Harmony is passionate about supporting her fellow authors.”
That is Harmony not blowing her own trumpet. Take a look at this!
We’ll have to imagine the adorable husband; she’s keeping him under wraps. I’d love to know more about her quirky neighbours – they probably appear in her books without recognising themselves.

Read and loved Fallout. Wishing Harmony much luck with the release. Also wishing she’d write a comedy about her quirky neighbors. 😀
Thanks for hosting, Sarah.

Thank you for stopping by, Staci. I gather you’ve had an early look at Fallout. The rest of us have to wait for August 25th, even more eagerly after reading your comment.
I too think a comedy about Harmony’s quirky neighbours would be great, but I bet she won’t release a picture of the handsome guy in her life. We might pinch him – only for a book cover, of course!

LMAO! I’ll have to see if hubby is game 😁. Here’s a link to some wedding pics I posted on my blog: https://harmonykent.co.uk/the-wedding/.

I confess, she gave me an advanced copy to read, so my review is already on Goodreads, BookBub, and my own site. I’m ready to post on Amazon the second they deliver my copy. I think her fans will really enjoy this one.
I’ve also been privy to a few pics of her husband, but I promise I won’t betray her trust and repost them. However, if she wants to use him on the cover of her quirky neighbor story (which I have now decided I will nag her to write), I will share that proudly.
I hope you join me in trying to “persuade” her into writing that one!

Great cover and an intriguing blurb. I’m quite a fan of apocalyptic and Dystopian genres so will deffo take a closer look at Fallout.

I’m presently writing my first post-apocalyptic novel. I’m trying to avoid reading others so that mine has a unique stamp on it, but I’ll be looking for ‘Fallout’ when it’s out there. By the time it’s released I intend to have my first draft completed. That will be my excuse for checking out Exxon 1 and all that goes on there.
Good luck with it, Harmony–it sounds great. Reblogged—if it worked. 🙂
BTW, your personal history is intriguing too. 🙂

I’ve read Harmony’s book The Glade ages ago… If this new book is anything like that one, it’s sure to be a success. 🙂

It’s a while since I read The Glade, Rebecca, and the blurb makes this one sound completely different, but you only have to look at the row of books – just a sample – to know Harmony is a multi-genre author.

Thanks, Rebecca. I’ve been told I’ve really upped my game since The Glade … so while it’s not a supernatural thriller, it will still keep you on the edge of your seat, lol. So glad you enjoyed The Glade a while back 🙂

It’s been a pleasure, Damyanti. The post will remain open. I’d be interested in any reviews, or links to reviews, on Fallout when it goes live, and I’m sure many of my followers, and those who reblogged the post, would be too.

Thanks, Sarah. I’d gone to bed by the time these comments showed up, lol. Back on it this morning, and really appreciate your hosting me and offers to show any reviews 🙂

Harmony, I’d be happy to show reviews, and add the one you like best to “Books I’ve Loved”, because I’m sure I shall, but others might write a better review for you. I know some of those on my books don’t say everything I wished they had, or mention something I’d have preferred left out!

I always love to hear inception accounts of how stories come to people – Fallout sounds like a good read.
Didn’t the Dalai Lama say that the world need more storytellers and that it would be saved by women.

Saved by women, Senan? Of course, but with help from authors like yourself. Harmony, if you look under “Books I’ve Loved” you’ll find my review of Spectral State by Senan Gil Senan. I think you’ve both won another fan!

Ooh, that sounds wonderful. It looks like Senan has given me another book for my TBR pile, which I’m currently in hiding from. It’s grown to huge proportions and keeps growling at me from the corner, lol 🙂

Thanks, Senan. I’m so thrilled you like the sound of FALLOUT. Oh, now, I’m sure if the Dalai Lama said that it has to be so! 🙂

On Sarah’s suggestion, just checked out your book and ended up buying a copy, lol. Best of luck with everything 🙂

Sorry to add to an endless TBR list, Harmony, but I promise if you move this one up the pile you’ll be posting a 5-star review. As you can see, I did. It’s one of my “book’s of the year”, it really is.
